Singer Waje shows support for Buhari led government

Nigerian pop singer, Waje, has expressed her optimism concerning the President Muhammadu Buhari change themed administration.

The singer, who recently got a bit of action in respect to how Nigeria’s top public servants organize themselves took to Instagram on Monday, August 29, 2016, to pledge his support for the Nigerian government.

She wrote, “My eyes opened today, from the meeting with the vice president to the press conference points down to one thing, we can be part of the change by involving ourselves a little more and be responsible for the things that happen in our own backyard #makenaijastronger #povertissexist.”

Apart from her admiration for Buhari’s change policies, Waje was also excited about getting to interact with Irish musician, Bono, as well as Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote.

Waje expressed this in another Instagram comment where she posted a picture of herself with Bono and Dangote saying, “In the midst of greatness #makenaijastronger”.

The singer was also captured in a picture with the Vice-President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.

The pair had just concluded a visit to a camp where 2.3 million displaced people were receiving shelter.
