IT’S home to the hunkiest politician alive – so never marvel that this country has topped this year’s sexiest nation poll.
Without fluttering a heartbeat, a resounding win came for Canada, with singles in the site revealing they were most attracted to men from the North American nation.
And with clean-shaven smooth-talking heartthrob Justin Trudeau, 44, as their leader, it’s not hard to see why.
The Liberal PM, who ticks all the boxes for women in the survey, even landed a spot on Vogue’s sexiest men alive last year.
The political pin-up isn’t alone for putting Canada on the map.
When asked what qualities affected their decision, fifty three per cent of the women polled admitted it was down to ‘personality’ – so it gives hope to all those nice guys out there.
With 40 per cent of users hailing from the United States, second place was not a surprise.
With an array of homegrown ‘talent’ including Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Johnny Depp, women were united in their love for famous hunks from their own land.
Proving Aussie blokes have the X Factor is X-Men star Hugh Jackman.
The Australian star has won a legion of fans, thanks to parts in the sci-fi film franchise as Wolverine.
Sizzling acting brothers Liam and Chris Hemsworth too help to turn up the heat.
Other nations that made the top ten for ladies include Korea at sixth, Ireland at seventh, Chile at eighth, English at ninth and Pakistani at 10th.
So if you hail from any of those nations, you might just be in luck for the eligible 600,000 singletons on the site.
The same can’t be said for women, however.
Bucking the trend, men revealed their sexiest nationality was the US.
With the likes of Megan Fox, Angelina Jolie and Emma Stone helping to represent their nation, it’s no wonder why they came out on top.
A surprise entry however was Armenia, which came second in the male preference poll.
This result was undoubtedly helped by selfie star Kim Kardashian, who is of Armenian descent.
Fifth was Colombia, which may have been inspired in part by My Hips Don’t Lie starlet Shakira.
Elsewhere Philippines came sixth, while Rihanna ensured all eyes were on Barbados, which came in at seventh.
For men, Australia came a lowly eighth, while England and Italy took their spot at the bottom of the list, at ninth and 10th.
According to the men surveyed, ‘facial features’ and ‘hair colour’ were the biggest draws when it came to attractiveness.
