Team Nigeria had only one representative in action on Day five of Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

Dream Team VI lost their last Group B game against Colombia 2-0.

Nigeria U-23 side are already through to the quarter-final before the game and five changes were made by Samson Siasia ahead of the clash.

Captain of the Colombian team, Teofilo Gutierrez netted the first goal before Dorlan Pabon fired home the second goal from the penalty spot.

With that loss, Nigerian finished the first round with six points, enough to top Group B.

They play Denmark in the quarter-finals on Saturday, August 13, 8pm (Nigerian time).

Chierika Ukogu could not compete according to schedule in the semi final C/D 1 Single Sculls event due to bad weather conditions.
