Paris attacks: ‘Gruesome torture of Bataclan victims’ covered up by French govt

It has been revealed that the French authorities may have hidden information about the torture of victims in the Bataclan.

Isis gunmen attacked the Parisian concert hall where Eagles of Death Metal were performing on November 13 last year, killing 89 people.

A leading investigator told a government committee that policemen on the scene of the attacks last November vomited after seeing the victims in a mutilated state.

Some victims had been castrated with their testicles put in their mouths, they claimed, while others had had their eyes gouged out. Some victims were allegedly decapitated.

However, prosecutors at the parliamentary inquiry into the Paris terror attacks have cast doubt over the claims, revealing that there were no sharp knives found at the scene that would support this theory.

Instead, they claimed, the injuries could have been caused by shrapnel.

According to Heat Street, the inquiry heard the alleged torture was the reason some victims’ bodies were not released to their families.

‘After the assault, we were with colleagues at the passage Saint-Pierre Amelot when I saw weeping from one of our colleagues who came outside to vomit,’ the investigator said. ‘He told us what he had seen.’

It was also claimed that the terrorists had filmed the torture for use in Isis propaganda.

The investigator described the experience of one father whose son’s face was mutilated on the right hand side.

‘I found that he had no right eye,’ the father had reportedly said. ‘I was informed that they had punctured his eye and sliced down the right side of his face, where there was a very large haematoma that we could all see.’

The prosecutor responded: ‘I specify, for the sake of clarity: some of the bodies at the Bataclan were extremely mutilated by the explosions and weapons, to the point that it was sometimes difficult to reconstruct the dismembered bodies.

‘In other words, injuries described by this father may also have been caused by automatic weapons, by explosions, or projections of nails and bolts that have resulted.’
