Gernot Rohr: Super Eagles get new Technical Adviser

German coach, Gernot Rohr has signed a two-year-deal with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF)  to become the Technical Adviser of the Super Eagles.

Rohr was appointed after the recommendation from the Technical and Development Committee of the NFF.

His appointment comes after the unsuccessful attempt by the NFF to appoint Frenchman, Paul Le Guen as the Technical adviser of Nigeria.

The 63-year-old German has managed the likes of Bordeaux, Nice, √Čtoile Sahel, Nantes , the national teams of Gabon, Niger and Burkina Faso.

Gernot Rohr managed the Senior National team of Gabon between 2010 and 2012

He last managed the national team side of Burkina Faso before he was fired in December, 2015.

NFF’s Technical Committee revealed that they meet with the former German defender and has been considered suitable for the job.
