Footage showing what would appear to be England fans fighting with each was circulated on social media in the wake of England’s humiliating defeat on Monday.
The video, posted on Twitter, claims the fans involved in the incident in Paris were English.
Lawrence Tanner, who uploaded the footage, wrote: “Classic England on and off the pitch as it kicks off in Paris Fanzone. Hate our fans at times.”
In the video, several men wearing England shirts and carrying flags can be seen squaring up to each other.
Frantic screams of panic can be heard as police and stewards move in to try and control the situation.
Euro 2016 has seen several outbreaks of violence between fans – with England’s opening round fixture against Russia a particularly damning moment for the tournament.
It is not clear what caused the violence in the Paris fan park.
England’s defeat to minnows Iceland has been described as one of the worst international defeats in England’s history.
Immediately after the final whistle manager Roy Hodgson announced he was standing down effective immediately.
