Twin sons of ex-Super Eagles forward, Daniel Amokachi, are set to train with one of his former clubs, Besiktas.
Amokachi who played 77 games for the Turkish giants between 1996 and 1999, scoring 17 goals took to his social media to announce his sons would be training with the side.
“My dear sons are training this week with #Besiktas. Back to @JSHercules next week,” Amokachi writes.
The 18-year-olds, Nazim and Kalim play as forwards like their dad although one of them is left-footed. The twins also had trials at Everton Under-13s where their dad also played.
They were however not offered any contract by the Premier League club.
Beside the twins, Amokachi has a third child with his Tunisian wife, Nadia.
Contrary to widespread report that the former Super Eagles forward met his wife during the African Cup of Nations in Tunisia 94, Amokachi revealed that he and his wife met in France.
“I met her first at a show, where I was modelling in France. She was a model too and we got talking but did not exchange contact information,” the former Super Eagles assistant coach once told Nation Newspaper in an interview.
“Our paths, again, came together in Tunisia and that was how the relationship was sparked. She is the mother of my three children and we are still very much together.”
Amokachi, 43, is presently the head coach of Finnish second division side JS Hercules.
