Nigeria forward Sone Aluko has said he joined English Championship side Fulham so as to help them return to the Premier League.
The former Aberdeen of Scotland forward, who joined Fulham as a free agent, told Fulham website that he decided to join the London club because his ambition matches that of the manager Slavisa Jokanovic.
“I am excited to be here. I spoke with the coach and I decided to come here because we have same ambition which is to play in the EPL. My dream is to play in the EPL again,” Aluko said.
Fulham last played in the English top flight three years ago.
The 27-year-old player has played for Birmingham City, Rangers, Blackpool, Aberdeen and Hull City.
